The X in Latinx:
A Conversation with Professor Héctor Tobar
Hosted by the UCI Chican@/Latin@ Staff Association
CLSA warmly invites you to a conversation with Professor Tobar on the origins of the term Latinx – why some embrace it, some reject it and some are simply confused by it. Whatever your position is on the label, one thing is true: our community is diverse and identity is complex. Together we can expand our knowledge on identity to better support each other and serve students at UCI.
